Frequently AsKed Questions

Absolutely not. Psychedelics are not appropriate for everyone.

There are tremendous amounts of non-substance healing modalities, such as meditation, yoga, sound healing, and breathwork, that cultivate and catalyze change. These, paired with transformational coaching, can create profound changes in one’s life.

I primarily offer virtual coaching sessions over Zoom. I live on Bainbridge Island in Washington State, but I’d love to meet you in person if you’re local.

Therapy primarily aims to understand and heal issues rooted in the past.

Coaching is future-oriented and action-focused.

Coaching recognizes a client’s past and how their lived experiences influence their life and perspective. It aims to achieve deep, lasting personal or professional change by addressing the underlying beliefs, behaviors, and thought patterns that shape an individual’s life.

Transformational coaching focuses on creating significant shifts in mindset, perspective, and overall way of being.

Psychedelics are not for everyone, and experiences differ. Having a trained professional providing support before, during, and after psychedelic experiences can make a big difference whether the psychedelic journey is positive or negative.

Psychedelic coaches help ensure that clients can safely navigate their journeys and derive lasting benefits from their experiences.

The word “Soul” is used here to describe your core nature and most innate qualities. It is your inner guidance, intuition, gut feelings, deepest knowing, your essence—the part of you connected to the broadest perspective of all of life: we are one and come from love.

“Authentic self” refers to the truest version of who you are—your core identity, values, beliefs, and desires, unfiltered by external pressures, societal expectations, or the need to conform. It’s the version of yourself that aligns with your inner truth and feels most natural and genuine.

As a sober person, I love working with people in long-term recovery; that being said, psychedelics are not a magic cure for addiction and not an appropriate tool for everyone in recovery.

Transformational coaching is an excellent tool if you’re feeling stuck in your recovery or looking to deepen it. It focuses on creating profound shifts in mindset, perspective, and overall way of being by addressing the underlying beliefs, behaviors, and thought patterns that shape an individual’s life.

I do not offer early-stage, addiction recovery-focused coaching. If you’re in the early stages of recovery or just beginning to look at your drinking or addiction, I recommend checking out these resources:

Only you can answer that; it’s a deeply personal decision you can only make for yourself.

These experiences, while often profound and deeply healing, are not easy and require going deeply inward and looking at one’s subconscious, underlying beliefs, behaviors, trauma, and thought patterns. Sitting with yourself in a guided, intentional psychedelic journey is no easy feat.

Because of this, my personal answer is no; it’s the opposite of the escapism, numbing & avoiding I was using alcohol for.

Asking yourself, “Am I engaging in this to connect with myself or disconnect from myself?” can be helpful.
